WORK WITH ARCHITECTS:
The design and execution of a kitchen remodel will involve several professionals; On the design end alone there may be a Cabinet Supplier/Designer, an Interior Designer, an Architect, an Engineer, or even all of the above, each with their own role and responsibilities. And of course the homeowner themselves may substitute for any – or even all – of those roles. Regardless of how many “designers” there are, if a permit is needed, project drawings must be filed. Drawings may be stamped and signed by a “Design Professional” – a Registered Architect (RA), or a Licensed Engineer (PE).
In the event that drawings are produced by others, such as Cabinet Suppliers, or Interior Designers, those drawings may be included in the permit submission package and stamped and signed by the Design Professional (PE or RA).
Partial images of sample drawings for some actual Projects where we worked with Architects are included below.
Drawings may not be reproduced; And, they are only to be used for the project and site identified in the drawing set.
