Whole House Renovation:
An extensive floor plan alteration or renovation may involve several professionals - both design and construction; On the design end alone there may be an Interior Designer, an Architect, Structural and Mechanical Engineers, Cabinet Suppliers, or even all of the above, each with their own role and responsibilities. And, especially on smaller projects, the homeowner themselves may substitute for any – or even all – of those roles. Regardless of how many “designers” there are, if a permit is needed, project drawings must be filed. Drawings will be stamped and signed by a “Design Professional” – a Registered Architect (RA), or a Licensed Engineer (PE).
Partial images of sample drawings for some actual Whole House Renovation Projects are included below.
Drawings may not be reproduced; And, they are only to be used for the project and site identified in the drawing set.
