Structural Repair:
In light timber framed structure, while sudden or catastrophic failure is not common, excessive deflection, cracking and other modes of failure may be undesireable and can lead to progressive deterioration.
Repair may involve jacking of existing structure, the provision of additional support, or retrofit of existing members.
Foundation failure, though less common, can be more expensive to address.
Foundation repair may involve crack repair, soil improvement, underpinning, or even replacement.
